The Church is not a building or a place to meet. It is not constructed of brick, wood, metal, and sheet rock. The Church is the Body of Christ and is made up of Christians (1 Corinthians 12:27). If you are a Christian, you are already a part of the Church. If you are not yet a Christian, or are not sure if you’re a Christian, the Bible tells us how to become a part of the Church.

• You must believe in Jesus (John 3:16).
• You must repent of your sins (Luke 13:3).
• You must confess Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9).
• You must be baptized in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38).

When we believe, repent, and confess, we are commanded to be baptized in the name of Jesus. When we are baptized, we are added to the Church (Acts 2:41).

When we become a part of the Church, we must then remain faithful to Christ until death (Revelation 2:10).
